Independent software studio

Careful software
for the careful few.

Sentryline Labs is an independent studio building quiet, durable tools for people who look after their own servers. We ship slowly, on purpose. Our first product is Termite, a native SSH terminal for the agent era.

Your agent keeps working.
You keep walking.

Termite is the SSH client for people who run Claude Code on their own servers and would rather not sit and watch it. We built it for ourselves first.

Termite

Termite.

A native SSH terminal built for the agent era. Kick off an agent, lock your phone, and approve from anywhere. Sessions persist over tmux on the host, and approvals reach your lock screen. Answer them without opening the app.

01Sessions that refuse to die. Every run lives in tmux on the host. Wi-Fi to 5G, dead spots: Termite reattaches by itself.
02Approve from the lock screen. Time-sensitive notifications and a Live Activity. One tap, and the keystroke rides your own SSH.
03Agent profiles. Claude Code, Codex and Grok detected from the PTY stream, with Approve, Reject, Mode, Interrupt, Stop.
04Keys never leave the device. Face ID, Secure Enclave, host-key pinning. No account required; sync is opt-in and end-to-end encrypted.

02 / Principles

A few rules we keep coming back to.

A studio is the sum of what it refuses. These are the lines we don't cross: the sentry lines.

P / 01

Make it quiet.

No streaks. No popups. No "engagement." Software shouldn't perform for you. It should disappear behind the work.

P / 02

Ship the boring parts.

Reconnects, key handling, keyboard nav, undo. The features no one demos. We finish them before we add anything new.

P / 03

Own your bytes.

Local-first by default. Encrypted sync where useful. Your keys stay on your devices, and your credentials never touch our servers.

P / 04

Stay independent.

No investors. No growth targets. We charge a fair price, answer our own email, and let the work decide the pace.

Built quietly,
shipped patiently.

We had been writing software for other people for a long time, and we wanted to write some for ourselves, the kind that lasts longer than the company that ships it.

We work in the open when it helps, and quietly when it doesn't. We don't raise capital. We don't keep a press kit. We have a sentry line: a quiet boundary between the work and everything that would rather we made something else.

Termite is what's on our bench right now. There are two more things on the shelves behind it. They will arrive when they're ready.
