01 Acceptance of terms
By visiting sentrylinelabs.com or using any product we make — including Sorturls — you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you're using the service for an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf, and confirming you have the authority to do so.
If you don't agree with any part of these terms, that's okay — but please don't use the service.
02 The service
Sentryline Labs is an independent software studio. We provide a website and one or more applications that let you save, read, organize, and sync links and the content behind them. We ship updates often, and we may add, change, or retire features over time.
We aim for high availability but we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted. Maintenance happens, and occasionally things break. When they do, we post to our status page and fix them as fast as we reasonably can.
03 Accounts & eligibility
Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
- One person or entity per account, unless you're on a plan that explicitly supports multiple seats.
04 Acceptable use
We keep this simple: don't use the service to do harm. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Break the law, or use the service to infringe anyone's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data beyond what our documented APIs allow.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or designed to deceive.
We may suspend accounts that put the service or other people at risk.
05 Your content
The links you save and the notes you write are yours. We don't claim ownership of them. You grant us only the narrow, technical license we need to store, process, sync, and display that content back to you — and nothing more.
We will never sell your saved content, train external models on it, or hand it to advertisers. Local-first by default; you can export everything at any time.
You're responsible for the content you save. Don't save anything you don't have the right to keep a copy of.
06 Plans & billing
Some plans are free; others are paid. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice — changes never apply to a billing period you've already paid for.
- Cancellation. Cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the current period; we don't pro-rate partial periods.
- Refunds. If something's genuinely wrong, write to us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
- Taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you're responsible for any that apply.
07 Intellectual property
The software, design, wordmark, and the name "Sentryline Labs" and "Sorturls" belong to us. These terms don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You may not use our branding without permission, except to fairly refer to the service.
08 Warranty & liability
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
09 Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data first.
10 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
